Prof. Hu Aiqun was Re-elected as a Member of the Advisory Committee of Cyberspace Security Teaching in Higher Education, Ministry of Education, P.R. China

Recently, according to the “Notice of Ministry of Education on the Establishment of the Advisory Committee of Teaching in Higher Education from 2018 to 2022” (J. G. H. [2018] No.11), a total of 50 people from Southeast University were elected to the new Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Education, including 3 directors, 10 deputy directors, 5 secretaries-general and 32 members, the total number ranking 18th nationwide.

Prof. Hu Aiqun of our School was re-elected as a member of the Advisory Committee of Cyberspace Security Teaching in Higher Education (previously referred to as Advisory Committee of Information Security Teaching in Higher Education).

The new Committee has a large scale, with 5550 members from 33 provinces, cities and areas (including Hong Kong and Macao). 111 advisory committees and 40 advisory boards are set up, and the 111 committees are composed of two comprehensive ones and 109 in specific majors and courses. The new Committee is prominent for it has the most authoritative experts in higher education, including 124 nationwide remarkable teachers, 103 Academicians and 308 Changjiang Scholars.
