Southeast University was Selected into the First National Research Bases of International Cyberspace Governance

On July 5, the Awarding Ceremony of “Research Base of International Cyberspace Governance” was held in Beijing. Ten universities were firstly selected, including Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Wuhan University, Fudan University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Beihang University, Zhejiang University, People's Public Security University of China, Southeast University, and Tongji University. The representatives from these universities attended the awarding ceremony.

“Research Base of International Cyberspace Governance” was organized and selected by the State Internet Information Office and the Ministry of Education. It aims to give full play to the teaching and research resources and advantages in the field of Internet and to encourage universities to further strengthen related theoretical researches, discipline construction as well as talent cultivation. It also intends to make contributions to promoting international exchanges and cooperation and facilitating the development of global Internet.
