I.EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

        According to the developments of the areas of the national cyberspace security and the needs of talents, the School of Cyber Science and Engineering has explored the modes for training the comprehensive talent. The school is committed to cultivating the students with the solid knowledge of the cryptography, the system security and the network security.

II.GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduates of the School of Cyber Science and Engineering should meet the following requirements:

       1.Knowledge of Engineering

The students should have the solid theoretical foundation of cryptography, system security, network security, application security, information security, etc. And the graduate should be able to solve the complex engineering problems in the areas of cyberspace security engineering.

       2.Analysis

The students should have the ability to apply the basic principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering science to identify, analyze the problems. And they can express their ideas in the field of cyberspace security engineering.

       3.Design

The students should be able to design solutions for cyberspace security engineering, design systems which meet the needs of information authenticity, integrity, confidentiality, availability, etc., and be innovative in the design process.

        4.Research

The students should be able to research on the complex engineering problems in the field of cyberspace security engineering. The graduate can design experiments, analyze data, and obtain reasonable and effective conclusions.

        5.Tools

The students should be able to use the tools to analyze and solve problems in the field of network security appropriately.

        6.Law

The students should be aware of the laws and regulations in the field of cyberspace security and have the good legal literacy. They should be able to comply with relevant laws and regulations during their careers.

       7.Sustainable Development

The students should be able to adhere to the concept of sustainable development in their work.

       8.Professional Norms

The students should have the sense of social responsibility. They should abide by professional norms and fulfill their responsibilities.

       9.Team Spirit

The students should be able to work with others and demonstrate their value in the team.

The students are able to communicate with industry peers on issues related to cyberspace security engineering. The students can express their opinions either verbally or in writing.

The students can understand the management principles and the economic decision-making methods, and can apply them in the field of cyberspace security engineering.

The students should have the awareness of independent learning and lifelong learning, and they should have the ability to continuously learn for the development.

       1. General Fundamental Courses: Ideological and Moral Cultivation and Legal Basis, Essentials of Modern History of China, Introduction to the Principle of Marxism, An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Military Physic, English, Engineering Mathematics Analysis, Geometry and Algebra, Probability Theory and Mathematics Statistics, Advanced Physics, etc.

      2. Specialized Fundamental Courses: Fundamentals of Programming A/B (bilingual), Data Structure Foundation, Computer Organization and System Structure, Mathematics Foundation of Cyberspace Security I/II, Theory of Information and Coding, Analog and Digital Logic Circuits, Signal and System, Communication Theory.

       3. Professional Backbone Course: Operating System (bilingual), Method of Compilation, Introduction to Computer Network (bilingual), Pattern Recognition, Cryptography, Computer Network Security (bilingual), System Security.

       4. Specialized Elective Courses: Database Principles, Network Intrusion Detection and Digital Forensics (bilingual), Wireless Network Security, WEB Security, Data Privacy Protection, Information Hiding and Digital Watermarking, Embedded Systems and Security, etc.

       Introduction of Cyberspace Security, Distributed System Design, Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Control System and IoT Security, Big Data System and Security, Wireless Sensor Network Technology, Quantum Computing and Security, Advanced Data Structure.

IX.CREDITS & GPA REQUIREMENTS

       Referring to the South East University credit system management method and the bachelor degree award regulations, the minimum credits required is 150, GPA should be no less than 2.0, and the level of foreign language should reach the foreign language learning standard of Southeast University.
